Physiognomia is an entertainment and self-reflection tool. It generates a subjective, AI-written impression of how a face tends to be read by other people. Physiognomy is a historical practice, not a validated science.

Nothing the app produces is a fact, a measurement, a psychological assessment, or a medical opinion.

Do not use Physiognomia to make or support decisions about a real person — hiring, firing, lending, renting, admissions, policing, insurance, safety judgements, or assessing whether someone is honest, dangerous, or trustworthy. Readings are not evidence and must never be treated as such.

Do not use it to harass, shame, profile, or discriminate against anyone, and do not use it to draw conclusions about a person’s race, ethnicity, religion, health, disability, sexuality, or any other protected characteristic.

You may only upload a photo of yourself, or a photo of someone who has clearly agreed to it. You confirm you have the right to use every image you upload. Do not upload photos of children, or images you found of people who have not consented.

You are responsible for anything you choose to publish, including share links and downloaded plates.

Physiognomia is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and the faces you upload must be adults who have agreed to it. We do not permit readings of children under any circumstances.

If your face has been uploaded, shared, or published without your consent, or a shared plate is being used to harass someone, report it through the feedback form with the link. We remove reported plates and share links, and we act on takedown requests by hand, usually within a few days.

You do not need an account to use Physiognomia. Accounts are only required if you want to save readings to your private archive. If you do create an account, you are responsible for activity under it, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

The service is provided as-is and may change, break, or be withdrawn. AI readings can be inconsistent or plainly wrong, and we do not guarantee any particular result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Physiognomia is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including any decision made on the basis of a reading.
